Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, under subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into agreements, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement, with the government of each of the following provinces amending the following immigration agreements:

(a) New Brunswick with respect to the Canada–New Brunswick Immigration Agreement; and

(b) Newfoundland and Labrador with respect to the Canada–Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration Agreement.

Sur recommandation de la ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée la conclusion, par la ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, d’accords modifiant les accords sur l’immigration ci-après avec le gouvernement de chacune des provinces visées, lesquels sont conformes en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint :

a) l’Accord Canada–Nouveau-Brunswick sur l’immigration, conclu avec le gouvernement du Nouveau-Brunswick;

b) l’Accord Canada–Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador sur l’immigration, conclu avec le gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.
