Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under sections 5 and 8 of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act, appoints Harpreet Singh Kochhar of Ottawa, Ontario, to be President of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($319,600 - $375,900), effective March 23, 2026.
