Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a) under subsection 8(1) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, appoints Glenn Purves of New York City, United States of America, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to hold office during pleasure;

(b) under subsection 8(2) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, designates Glenn Purves to be Deputy Minister for International Trade, to be styled Deputy Minister of International Trade; and

(c) fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($306,000 - $360,000);

effective March 23, 2026

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, nomme Glenn Purves, New York (États-Unis d’Amérique), sous-ministre délégué des Affaires étrangères, à titre amovible;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 8(2) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, désigne Glenn Purves, sous-ministre du Commerce international, devant porter le titre de sous-ministre du Commerce international;

c) fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (306 000 $ – 360 000 $);

à compter du 23 mars 2026.
