Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, under subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement with Prince Edward Island, substantially in the annexed form, to amend the Canada-Prince Edward Island Immigration Agreement and to extend it for a period of one year.

Sur recommandation de la ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée la conclusion par la ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, d’un accord, conforme en substance au texte ci-après, visant la modification de l’Accord Canada–Île‑du‑Prince‑Édouard sur l’immigration et la prorogation de celui-ci pour une période d’un an.
