Whereas the Honourable Bonnie Bokenfohr, a justice of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, has tendered her resignation for the reason set out in paragraph 42(1.1)(b) of the Judges Act;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice.

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Bonnie Bokenfohr; and

(b) under paragraph 42(1.1) (b) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Bonnie Bokenfohr an annuity of $276,600 commencing on the day on which this Order is made and continuing during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Bonnie Bokenfohr, juge de la Cour du Banc du Roi de l’Alberta, a donné sa démission pour le motif prévu à l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Bonnie Bokenfohr;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Bonnie Bokenfohr, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 276 600 $ payable à compter de la date du présent décret.
