Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a) under subsection 4(2) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, appoints Robert Wright, of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Development, to hold office during pleasure;

(b) under subsection 4(3) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, designates Robert Wright to be Deputy Minister of Labour, to hold office during pleasure; and

(c) fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($248,400 - $292,200);

effective January 12, 2026.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil:

a) en vertu du paragraphe 4(2) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, nomme Robert Wright, d’Ottawa (Ontario), sous-ministre délégué de l’Emploi et du Développement social, à titre amovible;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 4(3) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, désigne Robert Wright, sous-ministre du Travail, à titre amovible;

c) fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (248 400 $ – 292 200 $);

à compter du 12 janvier 2026.
