                  Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby

(a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2003-1115 of July 24, 2003;

(b) authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(i) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Chile on Air Transport; or

(ii) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing the Honourable Pierre S. Pettigrew, Minister for International Trade, or Louis Ranger, Deputy Minister of Transport, or Leonard J. Edwards, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Bernard Giroux, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Chile, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Chile on Air Transport; and

(iii) to take the action necessary to bring the Agreement into force for Canada.

                Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) abroge le décret C.P. 2003-1115 du 24 juillet 2003,

b) autorise le ministre des Affaires étrangères :

(i) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, l’Accord sur le transport aérien entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République du Chili,

(ii) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant l’honorable Pierre S. Pettigrew, ministre du Commerce international, Louis Ranger, sous-ministre des Transports, Leonard J. Edwards, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Bernard Giroux, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République du Chili, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, l’Accord sur le transport aérien entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République du Chili,

(ii) à prendre les mesures nécessaires à l’entrée en vigueur de l’Accord pour le Canada.
