Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

1.   the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of Canada, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Arab Emirates for the Promotion and Protection of Investments; or

2.    the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Maninder Sidhu, Minister of International Trade, Robert Stewart, Deputy Minister of International Trade, or Radha Krishna Panday, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the United Arab Emirates, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Arab Emirates for the Promotion and Protection of Investments.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

1.     soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des Émirats arabes unis concernant la promotion et la protection des investissements;

2.     soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Maninder Sidhu, ministre du Commerce international, Robert Stewart, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Radha Krishna Panday, ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire auprès des Émirats arabes unis, à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des Émirats arabes unis concernant la promotion et la protection des investissements.
