Whereas the Governor in Council considers that the annexed First Nations Fiscal Management Act Adaptation Regulations are necessary for the purpose of enabling an Indigenous group that is a party to a treaty, land claims agreement or self-government agreement with Canada to benefit from the provisions of the First Nations Fiscal Management Act or obtain the services of any body established under that Act;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, makes the annexed First Nations Fiscal Management Act Adaptation Regulations under subsection 141(1) of the First Nations Fiscal Management Act.

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil estime le Règlement adaptant la Loi sur la gestion financière des premières nations, ci-après, nécessaire afin de donner à tout groupe autochtone qui est partie à un traité, à un accord sur des revendications territoriales ou à un accord sur l’autonomie gouvernementale avec le Canada la possibilité de profiter des dispositions de la Loi sur la gestion financière des premières nations ou d’obtenir les services d’un organisme constitué par cette loi;

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Relations Couronne-Autochtones et en vertu du paragraphe 141(1) de la Loi sur la gestion financière des premières nations, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement adaptant la Loi sur la gestion financière des premières nations, ci-après.
