Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, after consultation with the board of directors of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation and under sections 105 and 108 of the Financial Administration Act, appoints Gina Byrne of Ottawa, Ontario, to be President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, on an interim basis, to hold office during pleasure for a term of eighteen months, or until such a time as a new President and Chief Executive Officer is appointed, whichever occurs first and fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range CEO 5 ($332,400 - $391,000), effective October 1, 2025.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances, après consultation avec le conseil d’administration de la Société d’assurance-dépôts du Canada, en vertu des articles 105 et 108 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Gina Byrne, d’Ottawa (Ontario), présidente et première dirigeante par intérim de la Société d’assurance-dépôts du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de dix-huit mois, ou jusqu’à ce qu’un nouveau président et premier dirigeant soit nommé, selon la première de ces éventualités, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle CEO 5 (332 400 $ – 391 000 $), à compter du 1^er octobre, 2025.
