Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under subsection 79.1(4) of the Parliament of Canada Act, appoints Jason Jacques of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Parliamentary Budget Officer, on an interim basis, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of six months, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($225,300 - $265,000), effective September 3, 2025.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, en vertu du paragraphe 79.1(4) de la Loi sur le Parlement du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Jason Jacques, d’Ottawa (Ontario), directeur parlementaire du budget par intérim, a titre inamovible pour un mandat de six mois, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (225 300 $ – 265 000 $), à compter du 3 septembre 2025.
