Whereas the Honourable Freya Kristjanson, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, has tendered her resignation for the reason set out in paragraph 42(1.1)(b) of the Judges Act;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice.

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Freya Kristjanson; and

(b) under paragraph 42(1.1) (b) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Freya Kristjanson an annuity of $276,600, commencing on the day on which this Order is made and continuing during her life

Attendu que l’honorable Freya Kristjanson, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, a donné sa démission pour le motif prévu à l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi surles juges,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Freya Kristjanson;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Freya Kristjanson, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 276 600 $ payable à compter de la date du présent décret.
