Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, transfers from the Minister for International Trade the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of International Trade under subsection 53(2) of the Customs Tariff,

(a) to the Minister of State (US Trade), specifically in relation to Canada-US trade; and

(b) to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in relation to all other trade.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 2a) de la Loi sur les restructurations et les transferts d’attributions dans l’administration publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil transfère les attributions du ministre du Commerce international visées au paragraphe 53(2) du Tarif des douanes :

a) au ministre d’État (Commerce avec les États-Unis), plus particulièrement en ce qui a trait au commerce entre le Canada et les États-Unis;

b) au ministre des Affaires étrangères en ce qui a trait aux autres échanges commerciaux.
