Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of State (Public Safety), under subsection 73‍(1) of An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms), chapter 32 of the Statutes of Canada, 2023, fixes April 4, 2025 as the day on which sections 16 and 36 of that Act come into force.

Sur recommandation de la ministre d’État (Sécurité publique) et en vertu du paragraphe 73‍(1) de la Loi modifiant certaines lois et d’autres textes en conséquence (armes à feu), chapitre 32 des Lois du Canada (2023), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 4 avril 2025 la date d’entrée en vigueur des articles 16 et 36 de cette loi.
