Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice in consultation with the Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities, under subsections 26(1) and 30(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act, appoints Christopher Sutton of Vancouver, British Columbia, to be the Accessibility Commissioner of the Canadian Human Rights Commission, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of seven years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($225,300 - $265,000), effective May 5, 2025.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, après consultation avec la ministre de la Diversité, de l’Inclusion et des Personnes en situation de handicap, en vertu des paragraphes 26(1) et 30(1) de la Loi canadienne sur les droits de la personne, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Christopher Sutton, de Vancouver (Colombie-Britannique), commissaire à l’accessibilité de la Commission canadienne des droits de la personne, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de sept ans, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (225 300 $ – 265 000 $), à compter du 5 mai 2025.
