Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, after consultation with the selection committee referred to in subsection 6(2) of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, under section 6 of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act, appoints Carol Shirtliff-Hinds of Ottawa, Ontario, who is a member of at least 10 years’ standing at the Bar of Ontario, to be Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, to hold office during pleasure for a term of seven years, effective April 14, 2025.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et procureur général du Canada, après consultation du comité de sélection visé au paragraphe 6(2) de la Loi sur le directeur des poursuites pénales, en vertu de l’article 6 de cette loi, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Carol Shirtliff-Hinds, d’Ottawa (Ontario), qui est membre du barreau de l’Ontario depuis au moins dix ans, adjointe au directeur des poursuites pénales, à titre amovible pour un mandat de sept ans, à compter du 14 avril 2025.
