Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, under sections 36 and 43, and subsection 42(2) of the Broadcasting Act, appoints Marie-Philippe Bouchard of Montréal, Quebec, to be President of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, and fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range CEO 7 ($468,900 - $551,600), effective January 3, 2025, in the place of Catherine Tait whose term will expire.
Sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien, en vertu des articles 36, 43 et du paragraphe 42(2) de la Loi sur la radiodiffusion, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Marie-Philippe Bouchard, de Montréal (Québec), présidente-directrice générale de la Société Radio-Canada, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle CEO 7 (468 900 $ – 551 600 $), à compter du 3 janvier 2025, en remplacement de Catherine Tait, dont le mandat prendra fin.
