Whereas the Chamber of Commerce Serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, in British Columbia, has applied, under section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, to change its name to the “Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce”;

And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that the name change is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, approves the application by the Chamber of Commerce Serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows to change its name to the “Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce” under section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act.

Attendu que la Chamber of Commerce Serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows (Colombie-Britannique) a présenté, au titre de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, une demande visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce »;

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil est convaincue que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la demande de la Chamber of Commerce Serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce ».
