Whereas the Minister of Transport has consulted with the members of the Laurentian Pilotage Authority and with the users of its services, with respect to the appointment of a Chairperson, to serve part-time, under subsection 3(2) of the Pilotage Act;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, under section 3 of the Pilotage Act, approves the appointment by the Minister of Transport of Marie-Claude Cardin of Boucherville, Quebec, to be part-time Chairperson of the Laurentian Pilotage Authority, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($220 - $260) and an annual retainer within the range ($5,700 - $6,700).

Attendu que le ministre des Transports a consulté les membres de l’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides et les utilisateurs de ses services concernant la nomination du président du conseil, à temps partiel, en vertu du paragraphe 3(2) de la Loi sur le pilotage,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la nomination par le ministre des Transports de Marie-Claude Cardin, de Boucherville (Québec), présidente du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (220 $ – 260 $) et des honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (5 700 $ – 6 700 $).
