The Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, advises that, under subsections 75(1) and 76(1) of the Parliament of Canada Act, a commission under the Great Seal of Canada do issue appointing Christine Ivory of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Parliamentary Librarian, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes her renumeration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 7 ($216,400 - $254,500), effective October 21, 2024.
Sur recommandation du premier ministre, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande que, en vertu des paragraphes 75(1) et 76(1) de la Loi sur le Parlement du Canada, une commission sous le grand sceau du Canada est émise, nommant Christine Ivory, d’Ottawa (Ontario), bibliothécaire parlementaire, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 7 (216 400 $ – 254 500 $), à compter du 21 octobre 2024.
