Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, under sections 10 and 13 of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act:

(a) appoints Pierre Tremblay of Whitby, Ontario, to be a full-time permanent member of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

(b) designates Pierre Tremblay as President of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission; and

(c) fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 8 ($291,600 - $343,000);

effective August 12, 2024.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Ressources naturelles, en vertu des articles 10 et 13 de la Loi sur la sûreté et la réglementation nucléaires, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil:

a) nomme Pierre Tremblay, de Whitby (Ontario), commissaire permanent à temps plein de la Commission canadienne de sûreté nucléaire, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) désigne Pierre Tremblay, à titre de président de la Commission canadienne de sûreté nucléaire;

c) fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 8 (291 600 $ – 343 000 $);

à compter du 12 août 2024.
