Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Social Development:

(a) under subsections 45(1), 45(4) and 45(5) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, reappoints Shirley Lynn Netten of Ottawa, Ontario, as a full-time member of the Social Security Tribunal, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

(b) under subsection 45(2) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, designates Shirley Lynn Netten of Ottawa, Ontario, as Chairperson of the Social Security Tribunal; and

(c) under subsection 49(1) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 7 ($254,000 - $298,800);

effective June 3, 2024.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu des paragraphes 45(1), 45(4) et 45(5) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, renouvelle le mandat de Shirley Lynn Netten, d’Ottawa (Ontario), membre à temps plein du Tribunal de la sécurité sociale à titre inamovible pour une période de cinq ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 45(2) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, désigne Shirley Lynn Netten, d’Ottawa (Ontario), présidente du Tribunal de la sécurité sociale;

c) en vertu du paragraphe 49(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 7 (254 000 $ – 298 800 $);

à compter du 3 juin, 2024.
