Whereas the Chief Justice of Quebec has nominated the Honourable Suzanne Ouellet, a Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec for the district of Quebec, to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Quebec - East;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, under Order in Council P.C. 2017-10 of January 19, 2017, appoints the Honourable Suzanne Ouellet, to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Quebec - East, to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

Attendu que la juge en chef du Québec a proposé que l’honorable Suzanne Ouellet, juge de la Cour supérieure du Québec pour le district de Québec, soit nommée membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de Québec – est;

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil, en vertu du décret C.P. 2017-10 du 19 janvier 2017, nomme l’honorable Suzanne Ouellet, membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de Québec – est, à titre amovible pour un mandat de trois ans.
