Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under subsection 4(4) of the Statistics Act, appoints André Loranger of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chief Statistician of Canada, on an interim basis, to hold office during good behaviour, for a term of six months, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 9 ($335,100 - $394,200), effective April 1, 2024.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 4(4) de la Loi sur la statistique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme André Loranger, d’Ottawa (Ontario), statisticien en chef du Canada par intérim, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat de six mois, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 9 (335 100 $ – 394 200 $), à compter du 1^er avril 2024.
