Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under sections 5 and 8 of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act, appoints Paul MacKinnon of Russell, Ontario, to be President of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($273,500 - $321,700), effective January 27, 2024.
