Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, under sections 6.4 and 6.5 of the Royal Canadian Mint Act,
(a) authorizes the issue of a two-dollar circulation coin, the characteristics of which are to be as specified in item 1 or 1.1 of Part 2 of the schedule to that Act and the diameter of which is to be 28.03 mm, and determines the design of the coin to be as follows:
(i) the obverse impression is to depict, on the inner core of the coin, the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Steven Rosati, with the initials “SR” on the bottom right-hand corner of the lapel and on the outer ring, the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “D∙G∙REX” to the left and right of the effigy, respectively, and, at the bottom of the outer ring, the inscription of the year of issue,
(ii) the reverse impression of which is to depict, on the inner core of the coin, a polar bear standing at the edge of an ice floe surrounded by water and other ice floes, the artist’s initials “BT” on the lower right-hand side of the ice floe on which the polar bear is standing, and, centred at the top of the outer ring, two virtual images of a maple leaf between two slanted lines, and at the bottom of the outer ring, two security marks, each consisting of a maple leaf within another maple leaf within a circle, with the number “2” between the two circles and with the inscriptions “CANADA” and “DOLLARS” appearing to the left and right of the circles, respectively, and
(iii) the edge is to show the inscriptions “CANADA” and “2 DOLLARS”, with a maple leaf before and after the inscription “CANADA”;

(b) authorizes the issue of a one-dollar circulation coin, the characteristics of which are to be as specified in item 2, 2.1 or 2.2 of Part 2 of the schedule to that Act and the diameter of which is to be 26.5 mm, and determines the design of the coin to be as follows:
(i) the obverse impression is to depict the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Steven Rosati, with the initials “SR” on the bottom right-hand corner of the lapel, the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “D∙G∙REX” to the left and right of the effigy, respectively, the inscription of the year of issue beneath the effigy, and beading around the circumference of the coin, and
(ii) the reverse impression is to depict a common loon at rest on a lake with an islet in the background to the left of the loon, the artist’s initials “RRC” to the right of the loon, a security mark consisting of a maple leaf within another maple leaf within a circle above the loon, the inscription “CANADA” above the security mark and the inscription “DOLLAR” below the loon, and beading around the circumference of the coin;
(c) authorizes the issue of a fifty-cent circulation coin, the characteristics of which are to be as specified in item 3 or 3.1 of Part 2 of the schedule to that Act and the diameter of which is to be 27.13 mm, and determines the design of the coin to be as follows:
(i) the obverse impression is to depict the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Steven Rosati, with the initials “SR” on the bottom right-hand corner of the lapel, the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “D∙G∙REX” to the left and right of the effigy, respectively, and beading around the circumference of the coin, and

(ii) the reverse impression is to depict the Arms of His Majesty the King in right of Canada with the inscription of the first two digits and the last two digits of the year of issue to the left and right of the Royal Crown, respectively, with the inscriptions “CANADA” and “50 CENTS” to the left and to the right of the Arms, respectively, and with beading around the circumference of the coin;
(d) authorizes the issue of a twenty-five-cent circulation coin, the characteristics of which are to be as specified in item 4 or 4.1 of Part 2 of the schedule to that Act and the diameter of which is to be 23.88 mm, and determines the design of the coin to be as follows:
(i) the obverse impression is to depict the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Steven Rosati, with the initials “SR” on the bottom right-hand corner of the lapel, the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “D∙G∙REX” to the left and right of the effigy, respectively, and beading around the circumference of the coin, and
(ii) the reverse impression is to depict the profile of a caribou head and neck, with the inscription “25 Cents” between the antlers, the inscription “CANADA”, between two four-pointed stars to the left of the caribou, the inscription of the year of issue preceded by a four-pointed star to the right of the caribou, the artist’s initial “H” to the bottom left of the caribou, and beading around the circumference of the coin;
(e) authorizes the issue of a ten-cent circulation coin, the characteristics of which are to be as specified in item 5 or 5.1 of Part 2 of the schedule to that Act and the diameter of which is to be 18.03 mm, and determines the design of the coin to be as follows:

(i) the obverse impression is to depict the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Steven Rosati, with the initials “SR” on the bottom right-hand corner of the lapel, the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “D∙G∙REX” to the left and right of the effigy, respectively, and beading around the circumference of the coin, and
(ii) the reverse impression is to depict the Bluenose under full sail on the Atlantic Ocean, with the artist’s initial “H” to the left of the Bluenose, the inscription “CANADA” above the Bluenose and the inscription “10 CENTS” below the Bluenose, in the water, with the inscription of the year of issue to the right of the Bluenose, and beading around the circumference of the coin; and
(f) authorizes the issue of a five-cent circulation coin, the characteristics of which are to be as specified in item 6 or 6.1 of Part 2 of the schedule to that Act and the diameter of which is to be 21.2 mm, and determines the design of the coin to be as follows:
(i) the obverse impression is to depict the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Steven Rosati, with the initials “SR” on the bottom right-hand corner of the lapel, the inscriptions “CHARLES III” and “D∙G∙REX” to the left and right of the effigy, respectively, and beading around the circumference of the coin, and
(ii) the reverse impression is to depict the profile of a beaver sitting on a beaver dam surrounded by water, with the artist’s initials “K⋅G” to the left of the beaver, the inscription “5 CENTS” between two maple leaves above the beaver, the inscriptions “CANADA” and the year of issue below the beaver, and beading around the circumference of the coin.
Sur recommandation de la ministre des Finances et en vertu des articles 6.4 et 6.5 de la Loi sur la Monnaie royale canadienne, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :
a) autorise l’émission d’une pièce de monnaie de circulation de deux dollars dont les caractéristiques sont précisées aux articles 1 ou 1.1 de la partie 2 de l’annexe de cette loi, dont le diamètre est de 28,03 mm et fixe le dessin de la manière suivante :
(i) à l’avers sont gravées, sur la partie centrale de la pièce, l’effigie de Sa Majesté le roi Charles III réalisée par Steven Rosati, les initiales « SR » dans le coin inférieur droit du revers du veston et, sur l’anneau extérieur, les inscriptions « CHARLES III » et « D·G·REX » à gauche et à droite de l’effigie, respectivement, et au bas de l’anneau extérieur, l’inscription de l’année d’émission,
(ii) au revers sont gravés, sur la partie centrale de la pièce, un ours polaire debout sur le bord d’une banquise entourée d’eau et d’autres banquises, avec les initiales de l’artiste « BT » dans la partie inférieure droite de la banquise sur laquelle se trouve l’ours polaire; sur la partie supérieure de l’anneau extérieur, centrées entre deux lignes obliques, deux images virtuelles d’une feuille d’érable et, au bas de l’anneau extérieur, deux marques de sécurité composées d’une feuille d’érable contenue dans une autre feuille d’érable, chacune figurant dans un cercle, avec le chiffre « 2 » entre les deux cercles ainsi que les inscriptions « CANADA » et « DOLLARS » à gauche et à droite des cercles, respectivement,
(iii) sur la tranche sont gravées les inscriptions « CANADA » et « 2 DOLLARS », l’inscription « CANADA » étant précédée et suivie d’une feuille d’érable;

b) autorise l’émission d’une pièce de monnaie de circulation d’un dollar dont les caractéristiques sont précisées aux articles 2, 2.1 ou 2.2 de la partie 2 de l’annexe de cette loi, dont le diamètre est de 26,5 mm et fixe le dessin de la manière suivante :
(i) à l’avers sont gravés l’effigie de Sa Majesté le roi Charles III réalisée par Steven Rosati, les initiales « SR » dans le coin inférieur droit du revers du veston, les inscriptions « CHARLES III » et « D·G·REX », respectivement à gauche et à droite de l’effigie, l’inscription de l’année d’émission sous l’effigie, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce,
(ii) au revers sont gravés un huard à collier au repos sur un lac, avec, à l’arrière-plan, un îlot à gauche du huard et, à sa droite, les initiales de l’artiste « RRC », une marque de sécurité composée d’une feuille d’érable contenue dans une autre feuille d’érable et figurant dans un cercle au-dessus du huard, l’inscription « CANADA » au-dessus de la marque de sécurité, l’inscription « DOLLAR » en dessous du huard, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce;
c) autorise l’émission d’une pièce de monnaie de circulation de cinquante cents dont les caractéristiques sont précisées aux articles 3 ou 3.1 de la partie 2 de l’annexe de cette loi, dont le diamètre est de 27,13 mm et fixe le dessin de la manière suivante :
(i) à l’avers sont gravés l’effigie de Sa Majesté le roi Charles III réalisée par Steven Rosati, les initiales « SR » dans le coin inférieur droit du revers du veston, les inscriptions « CHARLES III » et « D·G·REX », respectivement à gauche et à droite de l’effigie, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce,

(ii) au revers sont gravés les armoiries de Sa Majesté le Roi du chef du Canada, l’inscription des deux premiers chiffres et des deux derniers chiffres de l’année d’émission, respectivement à gauche et à droite de la couronne royale, les inscriptions « CANADA » et « 50 CENTS », respectivement, à gauche et à droite des armoiries, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce;
d) autorise l’émission d’une pièce de monnaie de circulation de vingt-cinq cents dont les caractéristiques sont précisées aux articles 4 ou 4.1 de la partie 2 de l’annexe de cette loi, dont le diamètre est de 23,88 mm et fixe le dessin de la manière suivante :
(i) à l’avers sont gravés l’effigie de Sa Majesté le roi Charles III réalisée par Steven Rosati, les initiales « SR » dans le coin inférieur droit du revers du veston, les inscriptions « CHARLES III » et « D·G·REX », respectivement à gauche et à droite de l’effigie, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce,
(ii) au revers sont gravés la tête et le cou d’un caribou vu de profil, l’inscription « 25 Cents » entre les bois, l’inscription « CANADA » entre deux étoiles à quatre pointes à gauche du caribou, l’inscription de l’année d’émission précédée d’une étoile à quatre pointes à droite du caribou, l’initiale de l’artiste « H » en bas à gauche du caribou, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce;
e) autorise l’émission d’une pièce de monnaie de circulation de dix cents dont les caractéristiques sont précisées aux articles 5 ou 5.1 de la partie 2 de l’annexe de cette loi, dont le diamètre est de 18,03 mm et fixe le dessin de la manière suivante :

(i) à l’avers sont gravés l’effigie de Sa Majesté le roi Charles III réalisée par Steven Rosati, les initiales « SR » dans le coin inférieur droit du revers du veston, les inscriptions « CHARLES III » et « D·G·REX », respectivement à gauche et à droite de l’effigie, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce,
(ii) au revers sont gravés le Bluenose aux voiles complètement déployées sur les eaux de l’océan Atlantique, l’initiale de l’artiste « H » à gauche du Bluenose, l’inscription « CANADA » au-dessus du Bluenose, l’inscription « 10 CENTS » dans l’eau en dessous du Bluenose, l’inscription de l’année d’émission à droite du Bluenose, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce;
f) autorise l’émission d’une pièce de monnaie de circulation de cinq cents dont les caractéristiques sont précisées aux articles 6 ou 6.1 de la partie 2 de l’annexe de cette Loi, dont le diamètre est de 21,2 mm et fixe le dessin la manière suivante :
(i) à l’avers sont gravés l’effigie de Sa Majesté le roi Charles III réalisée par Steven Rosati, les initiales « SR » dans le coin inférieur droit du revers du veston, les inscriptions « CHARLES III » et « D·G·REX », respectivement à gauche et à droite de l’effigie, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce,
(ii) au revers sont gravés un castor vu de profil se tenant sur une digue de castor entourée d’eau, les initiales de l’artiste « K⋅G » à gauche du castor, l’inscription « 5 CENTS » entre deux feuilles d’érable au-dessus du castor, l’inscription « CANADA » et l’inscription de l’année d’émission en dessous du castor, ainsi qu’un grènetis soulignant le pourtour de la pièce.
