Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under subsection 82(2) of the Parliament of Canada Act, appoints the Honourable Konrad Winrich von Finckenstein, C.M., of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner, on an interim basis, to hold office during good behaviour, for a term of six months, and fixes his salary at an amount to be equal to that of a judge of the Federal Court, other than the Chief Justice of that Court, as amended from time to time.
