Whereas the Honourable Terri A. MacPherson, a judge of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, has tendered her resignation for the reason set out in paragraph 42(1.1)(b) of the Judges Act;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Terri A. MacPherson; and

(b) under paragraph 42(1.1)(b) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Terri A. MacPherson an annuity of $255,800, commencing on the day on which this Order is made and continuing during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Terri A. MacPherson, juge de la Cour suprême de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, a donné sa démission pour le motif prévu à l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Terri A. MacPherson;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Terri A. MacPherson, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 255 800 $ payable à compter de la date de prise du présent décret.
