Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol on the Accession of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, as well as any accompanying legally binding instruments; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Mary Ng, Minister for International Trade; Robert Stewart, Deputy Minister for International Trade; Bruce Christie, Assistant Deputy Minister, Trade Policy and Negotiations; or Joanne Lemay, High Commissioner for Canada in New Zealand, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol on the Accession of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, as well as any accompanying legally binding instruments.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole d’adhésion du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord à l’Accord de Partenariat transpacifique global et progressiste, ainsi que tout instrument connexe juridiquement contraignant;

b) soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Mary Ng, ministre du Commerce international, Robert Stewart, sous-ministre du Commerce international, Bruce Christie, sous-ministre adjoint, Politique et négociations commerciales, ou Joanne Lemay, haute-commissaire du Canada auprès de la Nouvelle-Zélande, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole d’adhésion du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord à l’Accord de Partenariat transpacifique global et progressiste, ainsi que tout instrument connexe juridiquement contraignant.
