Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes:

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Letters constituting an agreement amending the Agreement for Co-operation Concerning Civil Uses of Atomic Energy between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America, done at Washington on 15 June 1955, as amended; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Natural Resources; Heidi Hulan, Assistant Deputy Minister for International Security; Kirsten Hillman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the United States of America; or Kevin Hamilton, Director General, International Security Policy Bureau, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Letters constituting an agreement amending the Agreement for Co-operation Concerning Civil Uses of Atomic Energy between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America, done at Washington on 15 June 1955, as amended.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Échange de lettres constituant un accord modifiant l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique concernant les emplois civils de l’énergie atomique, fait à Washington le 15 juin 1955, tel que modifié;

b) soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Jonathan Wilkinson, ministre des Ressources naturelles, Heidi Hulan, sous-ministre adjointe de la Sécurité internationale, Kirsten Hillman, ambassadrice extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès des États-Unis d’Amérique, ou Kevin Hamilton, directeur général, Bureau de la politique de sécurité internationale, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Échange de lettres constituant un accord modifiant l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique concernant les emplois civils de l’énergie atomique, fait à Washington le 15 juin 1955, tel que modifié.
