Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Acting Minister of Justice, under section 7 and subsection and 11(1) of the Law Commission of Canada Act, appoints Shauna Van Praagh of Outremont, Quebec to be President of the Law Commission of Canada, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes her remuneration, which salary is within the range GC 7 ($195,000 - $229,300), effective June 6, 2023.

Sur recommandation du ministre suppléant de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 7 et du paragraphe 11(1) de la Loi sur la Commission du droit du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Shauna Van Praagh d’Outremont (Québec) présidente de la Commission du droit du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 7 (195 000$ - 229 300$), à compter du 6 juin 2023.
