Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness,

(a) under sections 45.18 and 45.19 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, appoints Kent William Roach, C.M., of Toronto, Ontario, to be a part-time member of the Management Advisory Board for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, to hold office during pleasure for a term of four years; and

(b) under subsection 45.19(4) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, designates Kent William Roach, C.M., to be Chairperson of the Management Advisory Board for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu des articles 45.18 et 45.19 de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, nomme Kent William Roach, C.M., de Toronto (Ontario), membre à temps partiel du Conseil consultatif de gestion de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de quatre ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 45.19(4) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, désigne Kent William Roach, C.M., président du Conseil consultatif de gestion de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada.
