Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, under subsections 10(2), 12(1), 12(4) and 15(2) of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act,

(a)   appoints Bernard F. Miller of Halifax, Nova Scotia, to be a member of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of six years;

(b)   agrees with the Provincial Government that the terms and conditions of the appointment of Bernard F. Miller as a member of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board should be in accordance with the annexed schedule;

(c)   fixes the salary of Bernard F. Miller at the rate set out in the annexed schedule; and

(d)   fixes the terms and conditions of the appointment of Bernard F. Miller in accordance with the annexed schedule.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Ressources naturelles et en vertu des paragraphes 10(2), 12(1), 12(4) et 15(2) de la Loi de mise en œuvre de l’Accord Canada – Nouvelle-Écosse des hydrocarbures extracôtiers, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a)   nomme Bernard F. Miller, de Halifax (Nouvelle-Écosse), membre de l’Office Canada – Nouvelle-Écosse des hydrocarbures extracôtiers, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de six ans;

b)   convient avec le gouvernement provincial que le traitement et les autres conditions d’emploi de Bernard F. Miller à titre de membre de l’Office Canada – Nouvelle-Écosse des hydrocarbures extracôtiers soient conformes à l’annexe ci-jointe;

c)   fixe le traitement de Bernard F. Miller au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci-jointe;

d)   fixe, conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, les conditions d’emploi de Bernard F. Miller.
