Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a)  under subsection 12(1) of the Supreme Court Act, directs that a Commission under the Great Seal do issue appointing Cristina Damiani of Gatineau, Quebec, a fit and proper person, being a barrister of at least five years standing, to be Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years; and

(b)  under subsection 13(1) of the Supreme Court Act, fixes her remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($198,900 - $233,000);

effective January 16, 2023.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil,

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 12(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, ordonne que soit prise une commission, revêtue du grand sceau, nommant Cristina Damiani, de Gatineau (Québec), une personne qualifiée inscrite depuis au moins cinq ans au barreau, au poste de registraire adjointe de la Cour suprême du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 13(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (198 900 $ ‒ 233 000 $);

à compter du 16 janvier 2023.
