Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Defence, under section 29.16 of the National Defence Act, appoints Vihar Joshi, K.C., of Ottawa, Ontario, to be interim Chairperson of the Military Grievances External Review Committee, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of one year or until such time as a new Chairperson is appointed, whichever occurs first, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($198,900 - $233,000).
