Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport,

(a)  under section 13 of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority Act, amends Order in Council P.C. 2018-0148 of February 21, 2018, by replacing “for a term of two years” with “for a term of five years”; and

(b)  under section 10 of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority Act, appoints Melissa Leigh Coulson, to be Chairperson of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, on an interim basis, for the remainder of the term referred to in paragraph (a) or until such time as a new Chairperson is appointed, whichever occurs first.

Sur recommandation du ministre des transports, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil,

a)  en vertu de l’article 13 de la Loi sur l’Administration canadienne de la sûreté du transport aérien, modifie le décret C.P. 2018-0148 du 21 février 2018 en remplaçant « pour une période de deux ans » par « pour une période de cinq ans » ;

b)  en vertu de l’article 10 de la Loi sur l’Administration canadienne de la sûreté du transport aérien, nomme Melissa Leigh Coulson, présidente par intérim de l’Administration canadienne de la sûreté du transport aérien, pour la durée du mandat prévu à l’alinéa a) ou jusqu’à ce qu’un nouveau président soit nommé, selon la première de ces éventualités.
