Whereas the Canadian Bar Association has nominated René J. Basque, Q.C., of Riverview, New Brunswick, to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of New Brunswick;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, under Order in Council P.C. 2017-10 of January 19, 2017, appoints René J. Basque, Q.C., of Riverview, New Brunswick, to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of New Brunswick, to hold office during pleasure for a term ending on July 15, 2024.

Attendu que l’Association du Barreau canadien a proposé que René J. Basque, c.r., de Riverview (Nouveau-Brunswick), soit nommé membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province du Nouveau-Brunswick,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil, en vertu du décret C.P. 2017-10 du 19 janvier 2017, nomme René J. Basque, c.r., de Riverview (Nouveau-Brunswick), membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province du Nouveau-Brunswick, à titre amovible pour un mandat se terminant le 15 juillet 2024.
