Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a)  under subsection 8(1) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, appoints Robert Stewart of
Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs, to hold office during pleasure;

(b)  under subsection 8(2) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, designates Robert Stewart to be Deputy Minister for International Trade, to be styled Deputy Minister of International Trade; and

(c)  fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($252,000 - $296,400);

effective October 17, 2022.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, nomme Robert Stewart, d’Ottawa (Ontario), sous-ministre délégué aux Affaires étrangères, à titre amovible;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(2) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, désigne Robert Stewart, sous-ministre du Commerce international;

c)  fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (252 000 $ – 296 400 $);

à compter du 17 octobre 2022.
