Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food:

(a) under subsection 7(6) of the Farm Credit Canada Act, appoints Ross B. Topp of Regina, Saskatchewan, to be President and Chief Executive Officer of Farm Credit Canada, on an interim basis, for a term of six months or until such time as a new President and Chief Executive Officer is appointed, whichever occurs first; and

(b) under subsection 108(1) of the Financial Administration Act and section 7 of the Crown Corporation General Regulations, 1995, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($293,600 - $345,400);

effective September 29, 2022.

Sur recommandation de la ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu du paragraphe 7(6) de la Loi sur Financement agricole Canada, nomme Ross B. Topp, de Regina (Saskatchewan), président et premier dirigeant de Financement agricole Canada par intérim, pour un mandat de six mois ou jusqu’à ce qu’un nouveau président et premier dirigeant soit nommé, selon la première de ces éventualités;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 108(1) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques et de l’article 7 du Règlement général de 1995 sur les sociétés d’État, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (293 600 $ – 345 400 $);

à compter du 29 septembre 2022.
