Whereas, under section 4.1 of the Export and Import Permits Act, the Minister of Foreign Affairs has consulted with the Minister of National Defence;

And whereas the Governor in Council considers it appropriate to permit the export of any thing that is specified in any of paragraphs 4.1‍(a) to (c) of that Act and that is included in an Export Control List, or any component or part of any such thing, to the country listed in the annexed Order;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, under sections 4.1 and 6 of the Export and Import Permits Act, makes the annexed Order Amending the Automatic Firearms Country Control List.

Attendu que, conformément à l’article 4.1 de la Loi sur les licences d’exportation et d’importation, la ministre des Affaires étrangères a consulté la ministre de la Défense nationale;

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil estime justifié de permettre l’exportation des objets visés aux alinéas 4.1a) à c) de cette loi, ou de quelque élément ou pièce de tels objets, inscrits sur la liste des marchandises d’exportation contrôlée vers le pays visé par le décret ci-après,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu des articles 4.1 et 6 de la Loi sur les licences d’exportation et d’importation, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Décret modifiant la Liste des pays désignés (armes automatiques), ci-après.
