Whereas the Honourable Grace Choi, a Judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, has become afflicted with a permanent infirmity disabling her from the due execution of her office and has tendered her resignation;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Grace Choi; and

(b) under paragraph 42(1.1)(b) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Grace Choi an annuity of $248,133.33, commencing on the day on which this Order is made and continuing during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Grace Choi, juge de la Cour suprême de la Colombie-Britannique, a donné sa démission pour incapacité par suite d’une infirmité permanente,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Grace Choi;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Grace Choi, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 248 133,33 $, payable à compter de la date de prise du présent décret.
