Whereas the Governor in Council deems it necessary to control the import of certain articles to restrict the importation of arms, ammunition, implements or munitions of war, army, naval or air stores or any articles deemed capable of being converted into those things or made useful in the production of those things and to implement an intergovernmental arrangement or commitment;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, makes the annexed Order Amending the Import Control List under paragraphs 5‍(1)‍(c.1) and (e) and section 6 of the Export and Import Permits Act.

Attendu que la gouverneure en conseil est d’avis qu’il est nécessaire de contrôler l’importation de certains articles pour interdire l’importation d’armes, de munitions, de matériels ou d’armements de guerre, d’approvisionnements de l’armée, de la marine ou de l’aviation ou d’articles susceptibles d’être transformés en de telles choses ou pouvant servir à leur production et pour mettre en œuvre un accord ou un engagement intergouvernemental,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu des alinéas 5‍(1)c.1) et e) et de l’article 6 de la Loi sur les licences d’exportation et d’importation, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Décret modifiant la Liste des marchandises d’importation contrôlée, ci-après.
