Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5‍(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8‍(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement with the Government of Quebec, substantially in accordance with the annexed agreement on the issuance of work permits to investor candidates who have received a Quebec notice of intent to select, which provides that the agreement will be valid beginning on the day on which it is signed by the last of the signatories to do so.

 

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5‍(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8‍(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration avec le gouvernement du Québec d’un accord conforme en substance à l’accord sur la délivrance des permis de travail aux candidats investisseurs ayant reçu un avis d'intention de sélection du Québec ci-joint, lequel accord dispose qu’il sera valide à compter de la date de signature de la dernière partie.
