Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Customs Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing John Ossowski, President of the Canada Border Services Agency, Ted Gallivan, Executive Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency, Scott Millar, Vice-President, Strategic Policy Branch, Canada Border Services Agency, or Ralph Goodale, High Commissioner for Canada to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Customs Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Gouvernement du Canada et le Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord concernant la coopération douanière et l’assistance mutuelle en matière douanière;

b) soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant John Ossowski, président de l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, Ted Gallivan, vice-président exécutif de l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, Scott Millar, vice-président, Direction générale des politiques stratégiques, Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, ou Ralph Goodale, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Gouvernement du Canada et le Gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord concernant la coopération douanière et l’assistance mutuelle en matière douanière.
