Whereas, pursuant to subsection 5‍(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration has caused a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (Excessive Demand) to be laid before each House of Parliament, substantially in the annexed form;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5‍(1) and sections 17 and 43 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (Excessive Demand).

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 5‍(2) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration a fait déposer le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés (fardeau excessif), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, devant chaque chambre du Parlement,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5‍(1) et des articles 17 et 43 de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés (fardeau excessif), ci-après.
