Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 8(1) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, appoints Christopher MacLennan of Gatineau, Quebec, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to hold office during pleasure;

(b)  pursuant to subsection 8(2) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, designates Christopher MacLennan to be Deputy Minister for International Development, to be styled Deputy Minister of International Development and Personal Representative of the Prime Minister for the G20 Summit; and

(c)  fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($232,700 - $273,700);

effective January 10, 2022.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, nomme Christopher MacLennan, de Gatineau (Québec), sous-ministre délégué des Affaires étrangères, à titre amovible;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(2) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, désigne Christopher MacLennan, sous-ministre du Développement international, devant porter le titre de sous-ministre du Développement international et représentant personnel du premier ministre pour le sommet du G20;

c)  fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (232 700 $ – 273 700 $);

à compter du 10 janvier 2022.
