Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a) pursuant to subsection 12(1) of the Supreme Court Act, directs that a Commission under the Great Seal do issue appointing Chantal Carbonneau of Gatineau, Quebec, a fit and proper person, being an advocate of at least five years standing, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years; and

(b) pursuant to subsection 13(1) of the Supreme Court Act, fixes her remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($211,300 - $247,500).

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu du paragraphe 12(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, ordonne que soit prise une commission, revêtue du grand sceau, nommant Chantal Carbonneau, de Gatineau (Québec), une personne qualifiée inscrite depuis au moins cinq ans au barreau, au poste de registraire de la Cour suprême du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 13(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (211 300 $ – 247 500 $).
