His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of Canada in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5‍(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8‍(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement with Newfoundland and Labrador, substantially in accordance with the annexed agreement, in order to extend the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Immigration Agreement by one year.

 

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5‍(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8‍(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence l’administrateur du gouvernement du Canada en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, d’un accord, conforme en substance au texte ci-joint, visant la prorogation d’une durée d’un an de l’Accord Canada — Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador sur l’immigration.
