Whereas pursuant to subsection 11.1(1) of the Payments in Lieu of Taxes Act, the Administrator in Council shall appoint an advisory panel of at least two members from each province and territory and shall name one of the members as Chairperson;

Therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of Canada in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, pursuant to subsection 11.1(1) of the Payments in Lieu of Taxes Act:

(a) reappoints Gordon John Daman of Niverville, Manitoba, as a member of the Payments in Lieu of Taxes Dispute Advisory Panel, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of three years; and

(b) names Gordon John Daman, a member of the advisory panel, as Chairperson of the Payments in Lieu of Taxes Dispute Advisory Panel;

effective May 25, 2021.

Attendu qu’en vertu du paragraphe 11.1(1) de la Loi sur les paiements versés en remplacement d’impôts, l’administrateur en conseil doit constituer un comité consultatif composé d’au moins deux membres de chaque province et territoire, dont un président,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Travaux publics et des Services gouvernementaux et en vertu du paragraphe 11.1(1) de la Loi sur les paiements versés en remplacement d’impôts, Son Excellence l’administrateur du gouvernement du Canada en conseil:

a) renouvelle le mandat de Gordon John Daman, de Niverville (Manitoba), membre du Comité consultatif des différends Paiements en remplacement d’impôts, à titre inamovible pour une période de trois ans;

b) nomme Gordon John Daman, membre du Comité consultatif des différends Paiements en remplacement d’impôts, à titre de président de ce comité;

à compter du 25 mai 2021.
