Whereas the Stony Plain & District Chamber of Commerce has applied, under section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, to change its name to “Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce”;

And whereas the Administrator in Council is satisfied that the name change is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

Therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of Canada in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, approves the application by the Stony Plain & District Chamber of Commerce to change its name to “Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce”.

Attendu que la Stony Plain & District Chamber of Commerce a présenté, au titre de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, une demande visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce »;

Attendu que l’administrateur en conseil est convaincu que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, Son Excellence l’administrateur du gouvernement du Canada en conseil approuve la demande de la Stony Plain & District Chamber of Commerce visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce ».
